<p>I just wondering what actually is chiropractor? My first thought, chiropractor is a disease. No it&#8217;s not.  Chiropractor is a job. They are treating people with health problem.</p>
<p>So what are they doing actually? Many people around the world often face the question about what do chiropractors do. The chiropractors identify and treat patients&#8217; suffering from the disorders of neuromuscular-skeletal that is an misalignment of the spine and other joints of the body, by correcting the position of the spine or through other right methods.</p>
<p>Chiropractors are usually practice in private practice or with other health practitioners in their clinics.</p>
<p>This information will solve the doubt of what do chiropractors do .The doctors at these clinics have a usual routine, like other specialists, to get needed information; to detect and treat patients. These specialists need to keep a record of patient’s medical history, neurological tests, orthopedic examinations and medical history. They may also suggest some laboratory examinations.</p>
<p>Chiropractic should have accurate observational skills that will help them detect the physical irregularities. These people need a lot of physical strength to successfully handle the complicated cases.</p>
<p>Apart from the above prescriptions, some specialists  also specialize in sports neurology, injuries, pediatrics, orthopedics, nutrition, diagnostic imaging or internal disorders. The Chiropractor work as single or as a group of practitioners who are also responsible for the administration responsibilities of practicing this medicine.</p>
<p>In bigger organizations, Chiropractors allot these responsibilities to office managers and assistants. Chiropractor who work privately have the responsibility to develop a strong base of patients, keeping records and hiring employees.</p>
<p>The Chiropractic treatment deals with health care, that causes a stress on the patient’s health. The doctors at these clinics specialize in non-surgical, drugless, natural health treatments, depending on the recuperative inherent abilities of the patients body.</p>
<p>Chiropractic medicine suggests changes in those factors that affect the lifestyle of person.</p>

<p>I have been in silent mode since two weeks ago. It is because I am really busy with office work and family. Last week I had my child turning one year old and I am preparing birthday party for him. Time is tight. I need to manage it properly so I will have time with my works, myself, family and most importantly time for God.</p>
<p>In the meantime, I still manage to join my university football team for friendly matches. Usually we will have friendly match in once a week time. That should be good enough for establishing relationship between team members. We have quite old timers team with average age of 30++. So not much competitive training except for jogging and play more with the ball.</p>
<p>However bad things come again when I picked up <a href="http://senseofhealth.com/2010/02/08/my-knee-injury-getting-worse/" target="_blank">knee injury</a> last week. My knee twisted again. Many of my friends ask me to do knee operation but I resist because I need to take long medical leave. So I have decided to rest at least 5-6 months, taking supplements and do proper weight training. Is that enough? I don&#8217;t know. I need to be consistent. I was thinking that I am not a professional athletes. Let&#8217;s see in 6 months time, can I recover from this injury. I will update you from time to time.</p>

<p>It has been two weeks and I am in the silent mode. Why?</p>
<p>First, I am having problem with my web hosting. All comments section in this blog are closed. I don&#8217;t know why, and it suddenly happen. I consult many people, digging on Google and last step I took was asking my web hosting technical support team. In not more than 24 hours they solved the problem. Thank you very much. If something happen again I should ask the web hosting support first. <img src='http://senseofhealth.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  My ignorance.</p>
<p>Second, I am busy. Yes I am busy with office work and busy having time with my family. Office work is not too much in the off semester right now but urgent request is always there. When you having sudden urgent things you cannot plan well. When you fail to plan, you plan for failure. Organization problem.</p>
<p>I am also busy with my family. <img src='http://senseofhealth.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  My boy is now approaching 1 year old and you need to watch he progress to one level to another level. If you keep following the baby development, you can see the miracle, you can see the joy. I want to see him from day to day, playing with him, teaching him. He is my first child, first experience and it&#8217;s always valuable.</p>

<p>Finally I was at home this weekend after almost a month busy with office work. This week I spend quality time with my family. Surprise when I got birthday present from my wife! <img src='http://senseofhealth.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>It was a new futsal shoes, Umbro SX-Valor II Futs-Ain. This shoes is not that expensive compare to my previous shoes, Adidas Sala anda Nike Victoria IC. It&#8217;s only USD20 but after trying it, the quality is good. It&#8217;s really meant for futsal. Very comfort sole and nicely fit with my foot.</p>

I also want to wear Umbro because admiration of Falcao who also wear Umbro. :p</p>

<p>Last week I have been very busy with office work. So it will be difficult to me to post every day. I cannot imagine how Dorren Rowse can post 50 articles per day and having many blogs.</p>
<p>Last two week I had a two football matches in Government Link Universities Games. My team draw one match and win the other. I am very satistied when I play both matches full time. Marvellous! It&#8217;s new valuable experience. The only bad thing is that I could not score in that matches. I am very disappointing after the match which saw our team draw 2-2 and it cost our championship point.</p>
<p>Yes I trained hard for the game and at last I achieved what I want; to play full time. The thing lack in me is the speed. Yes I can control the ball well but I cannot run fast to beat the defender. I play in midfield and that&#8217;s the tough job. First I need full fitness to cover all the zone and then I also need speed to do the attacking and cover up the defence.</p>
<p>Last week I could not work it out more on my fitness level. I will be full with meeting and conference. Definitely time is permitting me from exercising. Two week of hectic schedule and I worked until last Saturday. However I will try to put myself in a healthy condition especially in taking good food and do light exercise when necessary.</p>
<p>This week I want to re-arrange my schedule back and I don&#8217;t want to attend any bloody fool meeting.</p>

<p>When in come to drug abuse or steroid abuse in sports, normally we refer to the doping scandal. The doping scandal is not only staining the integrity of sporting events but they also put athletes own long-term health at risk.</p>
<h2>History</h2>
<p>Back in 77C in the original Olympic Games, the use of performance enhancing drugs has been documented in an attempt to increase testosterone. The first doping scandal was in 1954 World Weightlifting Championships, where the Soviets easily dominated most of their weight classes. In the late 60’s the use of steroid has been ban. However, today’s athletes still take performance enhancing drugs (often called “PEDs”) and anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS).</p>
<h2>Anabolic steroids</h2>
<p>Anabolic steroid is very addictive and steroid abusers typically spend large amounts of time and money trying to obtain the drug despite negative physical and physiological effects. These problems could be permanent or persist for more than a year after the abuser has stopped taking the drug.</p>

<p>So this week is very good for me when it&#8217;s start on <a href="http://senseofhealth.com/2010/06/01/monday-exercise/" target="_blank">Monday</a> I have a healthy day. What happen on Tuesday and Wednesday? Yeah! I taste 70 minutes of <a href="http://senseofhealth.com/2010/05/25/fitness-and-football/" target="_blank">football match</a> for two straight days. I am feeling good in term of fitness. I repeat, in term of fitness. Why I say that? Because I can stay longer on the pitch but I am not become faster.</p>
<p>My friend said that my movement is getting slower and yes I admit it. It almost a month now I am not smoking and went to the gym to taste the feel of fitness and to fix my knee injury. So 140 minutes of football is a big achievement for me.</p>
<p>To become faster or to become speedier is not my target right now. With the knee injury I definitely cannot train to become faster at this moment. At this moment I am happy to stay longer on the pitch and I can touch the ball many times. After my knees getting better definitely I put more on pace training. <img src='http://senseofhealth.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Today is the rest day and I am planning to go to gym again and work on cardio exercise. From time to time I am addicted to cardio exercise. After that I will do weight training to improve the strength of my knees.</p>

<p>Yesterday I start my to exercise again after four days break. It was a heavy rain but I manage to arrive early in the gym.</p>
<p>My knee still sore because of <a href="http://senseofhealth.com/2010/05/25/fitness-and-football/" target="_blank">last week friendly game</a> so to jog on the treadmill is not a good option. Because I target for cardio exercise so I ride the bicycle. I set the time to 20 minutes, 80kg and level 8.</p>
<p>After that I did weightlifting and thigh and knee exercise for about 10 minutes.</p>
<p>Suddenly the rains stop and I went to join the football training with my friend. I still not satisfied with yesterday progress but at least I already work out after having four days break.</p>

<p>Last week I try to drill myself to <a href="http://senseofhealth.com/2010/05/25/fitness-and-football/" target="_blank">exercise</a> more and more than my previous attempt. However on Wednesday I was exhausted when I can only manage to jog 3 rounds of football field plus weightlifting training in the gym. Anyway I am still enjoy with my achievement.</p>
<p>Do you know everytime you exercise, chemicals known as endorphins releases by your brain that produce euphoria feeling. Without this rush, you&#8217;ll feel irritable and out of it till you exercise again.  Hence, you&#8217;ll go on exercising and not listen to what your body is actually telling you &#8211; which is to stop.</p>
<p>The main reason addicts will continue to push themselves consist in what will encounter when they don&#8217;t work out. Normally when they are unable to exercise, they will display signs of depression, anxiety, confusion, and be less happy with themselves.</p>
<h3>Aches and injury</h3>
<p>Over exercising doesn&#8217;t only affect the mind, but the body as well.  Exercise will initially do what it is intended to do, give you a fit body but once you cross the line however, it can drastic. Muscle injury, osteoarthritis, and heart problems will all be waiting in the wings if you remain to overdo it.  The body has limits and if you push beyond that limit, you&#8217;ll do nothing but harm yourself.</p>
<p>Obsessive exercise tends to effect among those who are new to exercise.  The obsession of getting fit and fitter will make them to put their body over the limits.</p>
<p>The initial signs of over exercise are exhaustion, which can result to a build up of fatigue.  Keep in mind, it isn&#8217;t only the muscles that are at risk, but the bones as well.  Many people who exercise drive themselves to the point of harms such as shin splints or even strain fractures, then refuse to rest, which causes bigger and sometimes even lasting damage.</p>
<p>Walk and brisk walk also exposed you to risk because walking too much will lead to athritis.  When you walk, you are working against gravity.  Even though you are exercising your muscles, you are also harming your <a href="http://senseofhealth.com/2010/04/22/knee-injury-what-do-you-need-to-know/" target="_blank">knee joints</a> as well.</p>
<p>Many people who walk up to an hour or more everyday end up with complaints of aches in the knees.  The fact is, jogging also hurts the knees, and too many sit ups can hurt as well.  As with any type of exercise, moderation is the key.</p>
<p>You should always start off gradually, and combine several different types of workouts, which is one thing that obsessive exercisers forget to do.  One of the greatest complication factors of people who get addicted to exercise is that they will tend  to perform the same workout each and every day, which further increases the risk of permanent damage.</p>
<h3>Think right</h3>
<p>Do not exercise until you feel completely exhausted. Your limit with exercise should be 45 minutes to an hour, four or five days a week.  When you are finished, your workout should leave you feeling strong and energetic.  Every week must make it a point to take a day&#8217;s break &#8211; as your body will need to relax and rejuvenate. I have try to put myself to exercise everyday; jog five rounds of football feel everyday without a break and suddenly I feel very tired and cannot focus. So to have a break is important.</p>
<p>The most important thing is your attitude and how you discipline yourself.  If you do it only to delight yourself, you&#8217;ll kill the entire purpose when you stand there on the weighing machine. Focus on what you want to achieve, is it cardio, stamina or muscle building.</p>
<p>If you take things one day at a time and don&#8217;t over do it, you&#8217;ll be well on your way to a healthy body.  Exercising can be a lot of fun and a way to relax, if you don&#8217;t rush it.  Start off slow and gradually work your way up.  Before you know it, you&#8217;ll know how to prevent injuries before they happen and you&#8217;ll know exactly what you need to do to stay on healthy. Exercise and work out in smart way and do not injure yourself.</p>

<p>On Monday, I had a football friendly. This match was held as preparation and indicator to our team capabilities before tournament in early June. I only taste the first half and after that I have been sideline. So this week no full time football. I got a few chances to score but wasted. I only can say the team still not solid for that tournament.The bad thing was, I started to feel my <a href="http://senseofhealth.com/2010/04/22/knee-injury-what-do-you-need-to-know/" target="_blank">knee injury</a> again. I am finished with<a href="http://senseofhealth.com/2010/05/05/glucosamine-sulphate-for-knee-injury/" target="_blank"> glucosamine</a> and stopped doing weight training to focus on cardio training.</p>
<p>But Tuesday was another great day to me. I bought glucosamine in the morning and in the evening I started my cardio training again. So yesterday I had 5 rounds of football field. Take a break and suddenly I had a chance to jog with ex-professional footballer. So I make another 5 rounds. Total I had 10 rounds of football field yesterday. It is a big achievement in my adult life. The last time I ever had 20 rounds of football field was back in 90&#8242;s.</p>
<p>I feel the different. I feel the fitness flowing into my body. The ex-professional footballer said to me that, during his time as a footballer he need to jog around 10km to keep fit for 90 minutes. So 5km jog will be enough to keep you stay for 45 minutes. Football field length is about 300m. So yesterday I only jog for about 3km. Damn! It&#8217;s a long way to go and I don&#8217;t have enough air to breathe.</p>
<p>But he also said, when you jog alone, the tendency to become bore is high so he told me to get companion. Companion will definitely motivates you.</p>
<p>Anyway, let&#8217;s try to achieve more. 20 rounds of football field is possible. It will make around 6km.</p>
