Steroids Abuse in Sports
When in come to drug abuse or steroid abuse in sports, normally we refer to the doping scandal. The doping scandal is not only staining the integrity of sporting events but they also put athletes own long-term health at risk. History Back in 77C in the original Olympic Games, the use of performance enhancing drugs has been documented in an attempt to increase testosterone. The first doping scandal was in 1954 World Weightlifting Championships, where the Soviets easily dominated most of their weight classes. In the late 60’s the use of steroid has been ban. However, today’s athletes still take performance enhancing drugs (often called “PEDs”) and anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS). Anabolic steroids Anabolic steroid is very addictive and steroid abusers typically spend large amounts of time and money trying to obtain the drug despite negative physical and physiological effects. One example of most popular steroid is clenbuterol or clen. It is very popular in the world of ...

America’s Most Miserable Cities 2010
I found this article when opening Yahoo! and for me there are something to be shared. This article wrote by Kurt Badenhausen from Forbes.com on February 18th, 2010. It's a finding in America only, what about other country. Are you feel secure living in that environment? What about your concern on financial, health, education, career and other factors? Let's take a look at the finding. Cleveland leads a slew of Midwestern towns on our annual list, but thanks to high taxes New York and Chicago make it too. The city of Cleveland has had a colorful history. The Cuyahoga River, which runs through the city, famously caught fire in 1969 thanks to rampant pollution, and it wasn't the first time. In 1978 it became the first U.S. city to default on its debts since the Great Depression. Cleveland sports fans have had to endure more anguish than those in any other city. The city has been dubbed with a less than endearing nickname: the Mistake by the Lake. This year Cleveland takes the top ...

Suddenly the babysitter who's taking care of my child going to Kuala Lumpur to settle down family matters. So my wife and I decided together to take annual leave. Actually on next Monday and Tuesday are Chinese New Year holiday. That's mean I will be on leave for almost sixth day. At this moment I am at the Flamingo Hotel in Penang. Nice, I this hotel provide wireless connectivity so that I can connect to Internet. This hotel is not luxurious but it's enough for three of us; my wife, baby boy and myself. One night stay cost me around USD60 for a nice sea breeze, sea view and good breakfast. There are also a lot of food stall along the road from Gurney, Tanjong Bungah, Feringghi beach and Teluk Bahang. You can have different type of food such as local Malay food, Siamese food, Western delight, Turkish food and ...
Should You Fight A Fever?
Most people would worry if their temperature, or the temperature of their child or other loved one, was to rise by more than a couple of degrees and they would probably act to try to reduce the temperature to nearer the normal 37C/98.6F. Surprisingly, this is not necessarily the best course of action. Prior to the development of antibiotics and vaccines, fever struck fear into populations and caused many deaths. Modern medicines, however, have caused these diseases to be treatable or preventable. Medical research has also shown that a fever is not the body's enemy. Most bacteria and viruses that cause infections thrive at normal body temperatures. So raising the temperature by a few degrees is the body's way of fighting infection by making conditions less suitable for the survival and reproducion of the infectious agent. A fever will also activate the body's immune system by encouraging the production of white blood cells, antibodies and other infection-fighting agents. So if...
