Time and Health

Last week I have been very busy with office work. So it will be difficult to me to post every day. I cannot imagine how Dorren Rowse can post 50 articles per day and having many blogs. Last two week I had a two football matches in Government Link Universities Games. My team draw one match and win the other. I am very satistied when I play both matches full time. Marvellous! It's new valuable experience. The only bad thing is that I could not score in that matches. I am very disappointing after the match which saw our team draw 2-2 and it cost our championship point. Yes I trained hard for the game and at last I achieved what I want; to play full time. The thing lack in me is the speed. Yes I can control the ball well but I cannot run fast to beat the defender. I play in midfield and that's the tough job. First I need full fitness to cover all the zone and then I also need speed to do the attacking and cover up the defence. Last week I could not work it out more on my fitnes...

What The Heck is Health Care Bill?

What The Heck is Health Care Bill?

I ran across Google Trends and Google Alert, and I find a lot of stories about health care bill. And this one caught my attention. Health care bill to be signed into law By  Jennifer Karmarkar Daily Titan Staff Writer President Obama will sign a historic health care bill into law today, effectively extending insurance coverage to more than 32 million Americans. While some Americans hail the new law as a necessary overhaul to a broken system and others decry it as a burden on a nation already overwhelmed with debt, nobody can deny that the bill will change the face of health care as we know it. “It’s going to change things a great deal,” said assistant professor of political science Matthew Jarvis. “There will be more pressure on insurers because they will have to insure people who haven’t been insured before and these insurers might not know how to market the product to those people. Also – and this is years down the road – insurance companies can no longe...

Stay Healthy for a Long Sex Life

Stay Healthy for a Long Sex Life

Just in case avoiding death isn’t a good enough reason to pay attention to your health, researchers from the University of Chicago offer another incentive: people who are healthy have better – and longer – sex lives. SexStacy Tessler Lindau and Natalia Gavrilova examined data from more than 6,000 American adults between ages 25 and 85. The men and women provided information about their overall physical health and their activity between the sheets. The researchers found that people in “very good” or “excellent” health were 50% to 80% more likely to be interested in sex than those in poorer health. What’s more, being in good health greatly boosted the odds of being sexually active. Healthy men were 2.2 to 4.6 times more likely to be sexually active than their unhealthy peers; for women, being healthy increased the likelihood of an active sex life by 1.6 to 2.8 times. And among those who were having sex, those in good health were more likely to say their sex...

Searching For Insurance – Health

Searching For Insurance – Health

I got private health insurance last year when I moved to a new area and my neighbour told me about hers. I couldn’t believe how cheap the premiums were and how many extra benefits you can get. It made me realise I’m prepared to spend 50 quid on a night out (more a lot of the time) but when it comes to my health, taking shortcuts isn’t even the term for it – I just give it no consideration whatsoever. Until now! I basically found out how it works from my neighbour who gets her health insurance from Aviva and when we were talking about it, I realised that it had been years, absolutely years since I had been to see a doctor. Like, even when I have been ill, I have not gone to see a doctor. And I just realised how stupid that is, because all the illnesses I’ve had have been symptoms of something serious but I’ve just ignored them. I have been checked and I am healthy, but it did make me realise that when it comes to your health, taking shortcuts is just foolish. At least ...

I Am Back and Fresh!

Yesterday I finished my holiday and today I am back to work. Almost a week from actual six days off. 14th February are Valentine's Day and also Chinese New Year. So, in Malaysia it was a public holiday on Monday and Tuesday. It was a festive time so many people went back to their hometown. Last year I went to Kuala Lumpur  during Chinese New Year and this time I went to Penang. So, what is the purpose of your holiday? For me, I want a rest! Yes, I need a quality one. Quality times is essential for yourself and also your family. I need a rest from busy working schedule, from a headache, from the bossy people, and also from any other negative factors. After coming back from long holiday, my colleague always ask me, "How's your holiday". I say "Yeah, great". Sometimes you can feel it and sometimes you didn't. For me when there are holidays you need to plan for what you want to do during the holiday. You must plan something. Do you want to sleep all day? Do you want to watch TV a...
